As you're doubtless aware, we have a compressor for filling bottles.  However, it requires a bigger power supply than we have at Denwood so it's kept and run on everyone's behalf by Chris W up in the Frozen North (Ellon.)

Chris is more than happy to take, fill and return your air bottles/cylinders (as long as they're within test) but remember that he's volunteering and sacrificing his own time so please respect this and be flexible with dropping off/picking up your bottles.

New kid on the bottle filling block is AMS in Palmerston Road, Aberdeen.  Apparently, you go to to the workshop behind the main building and enter via the small blue door that has a deliveries sign on it.  There is a portacabin directly in front as you go through the door and the girl in there will help you.

Open Mondays to Fridays. 8:30am to 4:40pm.  Always someone available to fill a bottle and will also service them if required.

News reaches us that Octopus in Stonehaven (who previously carried out testing and filling of bottles) no longer carry out this work.

will refill a 12 litre 300bar for £18 (bottle has to be in date but they do also test and certificate if required.)

They advise going to the rear service door where the technicians will do the fill then pay at the office.
