7/5/21  May's Comp. is off to a flying start as both Alex and Stoof put in 29s for their first rounds.  And Steve's not hanging about either.

I think this month's is going to be the most hotly contested yet. 

9/5/21.  And to back that statement up, Birthday Boy Alex (80 - can you believe that??!!) puts in a solid 28 to take the lead.

10/5/21.  Steve has a burst of activity and puts in two cards, both 26s.  More than enough to leap frog him to the top of the table.

15/5/21.  More scores in and Steve is the first to complete this month's comp.  This month has seen the highest scores yet - surely proof of the adage "Competition improves the breed."

25/5/21.  A very respectable 5th round 27 from Stoof sees him overtake Steve.  Alex, however, can afford to drop six points in his last two rounds to win.

30/5/21.  Alex, true to form, keeps us all in suspense.  

A 4th round 28 sees him on course for victory if he can get a similar card in before midnight on Monday.

31/5/21.  He kept us all waiting but a score of 27 from Alex is enough to win the May rifle comp.  Well done Sir and a jolly good show to Steve and Stoof too.
