The site is 3 miles North from New Deer, following the tourist information signs that read 'Waulkmill Fishery.'
Travel out towards Maud from New Deer.  You will come to a crossroads, turn on to the Strichan road, again follow the tourist information signs marked 'Waulkmill Fishery.'

From Aberdeen City:
Travel North on the A90 to Ellon.  At the B9005 roundabout, take the A948 North to New Deer then follow directions as above.

Directions To Denwood Shooting Ground

The Range is located on Countesswells Road, Aberdeen.  The entrance off Countesswells Road is not sign posted but may be identified by a white 'A' frame metal gate opposite the junction with Craigton Road (a minor road joining Countesswells Rd.)  Passing through this gate, the track leads on to a 100yd paved road and into the range complex.  There are frequently horses, joggers and dogs, not to mention deer on the track so please drive slowly down to the range.  Parking is outside the front of the indoor range, which is well lit.

The white gate - drive straight through and follow the road round...

...and then you'll see the Main Building.
