8/5/21.  And so it begins, the usual suspects line up for another crack at shooting stardom and the chance to be the First Among Equals.  An interesting spread of pistols here with Stoof's "semi-recoiless" springer, the SSP of Alex and a PCP from Steve.

11/5/21.  Stoof submits his 3rd round card and it's a 25.  Which is bang on his average so far.

15/5/21.  Which he follows up with a 24.  Steve, however, surges ahead and gets all five cards in while  Alex bides his time and waits for the most advantageous moment to strike.

16/5/21.  Bri actually gets the opportunity to have a go.  And wishes he hadn't.  A truly pathetic 14 with the first three shots completely missing their targets.  Oh, how the mediocre have fallen...

23/5/21.  Alex submitted three cards and he's still in the running.

25/5/21.  Stoof has an uncharacteristic dip with a 19.  Enough to put him in the top spot but it's a precarious perch as Alex just has to maintain his average to pip him at the post.  All eyes on Mr C...

31/5/21.  And he leaves us waiting until the last minute..

Alex puts in a last round 25 for victory.  Well done Sir but don't think that Steve and Stoof are going to let you have an easy time of it in June's comp.
