50m PCP Comp 2026

14/4/26.  Ken got off to a flying start this week with his HW100 putting in a stunning ten.  We look forward to him repeating this.

Erni, however, jinxed himself by opting for his FX Dreamslime.  No chance of a clean sweep with an FX but it's testimony to his shooting skills that he can rack up a (fantastic under the circumstances) nine with such a handicap.

14/4/26.  Jim took advantage of our new unlimited rule and opened his 2026 campaign with a stonking pair of Daystate enabled tens.  We can only assume that, seeing as his first entry went well, he thought he'd stay on the roll and squeeze another round in.  And then quit while he was ahead.

A good plan.

Erni got all Weihrauch-y and rattled in a solid and consistent nine which puts him two points behind Jim but it's early days and I've no doubt there'll be a bit of jostling for the top spot throughout the year.

3/4/26.  He won it last year and his nine on Wednesday shows that he intends to do it again in 2026.  Sporting his HW100, Erni's off to a good start.

Pfft guns to the fore because it's 50m time again.

The rules are largely unchanged from previous years with the exception of now being able to shoot as many of your 10 rounds as you like in a single evening.

Erni is your man on site and he'll give you a rundown of things but the highlights for any new entrants are -

Any PCP, any sight*, any calibre.

Any stance but all generally shoot seated and supported.

Only use the designated lane.

No practicing on the designated lane.

10 rounds per season.

Each round consists of 10 shots - two each on the five spinners.

A point for a solid hit, zero for a miss or a wobble from the breeze of a pellet passing nearby.

And that's practically all there is to it.

Pass on your scores to ever-present Erni or seldom-seen Bri (garcweb@outlook.com) then keep an eye on this page and the GARC Forum for updated tables, news and gossip.

*Let's not have any ballistic calculator devices please - let's keep the playing field as level and accessible as possible.
